Me and a fishing buddy spent twelve hours fishing at Wolfe's Pond at Wolfe's Pond Park today.
This park is a favorite because of its beauty and the fact that there are two bodies of water on the park's border; the fresh water pond and the salt water Atlantic Ocean! It was a long day because fish were not active. We fished everything we had but only caught a few fish. Thank goodness for blue gills. I saw no crappie at all. North of Hylan Boulevard, Acme pond, carp were going wild as they appeared to be in spawn mode. Not even the mosquitoes were biting.

Just outside of Wolfe's Pond is a beach and salt water fishing. Wolfe's Pond Park is one of only two parks in New York City that can offer fresh and salt water fishing.
