Prospect Park
I spotted a couple of small koi this afternoon
on the lullwater. It is difficult for these guys to
hide in their surroundings because of their
beautiful coloring. The orange one appeared
to have a fantail.
Koi are the most difficult fish to catch
Koi are extremely shy and rarely can be found
eating, which is the key to catching fish.

One of Brooklyn's wild Bass sitting on it's nest.
Notice the clarity of the water. In a few weeks
the bass fry will be swimming with their parent.

These are Booklyn fish, so they have to be tough. No wonder I've had so much trouble catching them.

I have seen fry swimming in the lake so the spawning is almost complete. the next 3 or 4 weeks should have bass actively feeding again. grab your bass bugs!
