Back to Lapland Lake
This has been an unusual winter, lots of warmer
weather. No ice on the lakes. My grand daughter
& I went to Lapland Lake again to ski for what
will probably be the last time this winter.
There is still more than a foot of snow here but
the forecast for the coming week is for temperatures
above 50F.
For the first time my grand daughter was able
to ski all the expert trails here. The snow was
slow but she stayed upright on all the tricky
downhills.
Our favorite restaurant in Gloversville, New York
Here she is skating up a steep hill!
