My second visit to this lake since hurricane
Irene. It was good to be able to see some
juvenile carp feeding at the swallow end of the
lake.
I set up my rod and began to fish. It was slow
but at least this time feeding fish were visible.
I was using my carbon fiber Franco Vivarelli
trout reel. The last time I used this type of
reel it ended up being broken. So I was
apprehensive.
I did hook a small carp. The reel did not break.
Happy days are here again!
