I went to the park to chum the south east
corner of Prospect Park Lake.
pictured above is First Island, an animal refuge
for birds who come to the park. Carp frequently
swim around this island and spawn here in the
spring. It is a known carp holding area.
I've caught some big blue gills in this area too.
I stayed here for more than hour and saw no
fish at all. fishing was slow.
