Bill - what fly would you toss to that Koi? amazing how much the koi stands out in the water.
The water in this part of the lake is abut 3 feet deep; so I would use a fly made from deer hair. deer hair flies float and depending on the size & color (#6 - #14) will resemble a number of things carp and koi eat.
